This book is about the social norm of women having children. I got super excited as I am a person who has chosen to be childless, and I have so many friends in various states of want/don't want/have/don't have etc. regarding children. This book has anecdotes and facts, but her main focus really ended up being the women who are waiting for love and marriage or a committed union before motherhood. I found this SO disappointing. She kind of brushed off people who want to be mothers without a committed relationship, people who don't want to be mothers at all, etc. It was just poorly advertised. Womp womp.
