Review: The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini

The Kite Runner is one of the best books I've read that I think everyone should read.

It's the story of two friends from different backgrounds, set against the fall of Afghanistan to the Soviet Union, the exodus of millions to Pakistan and the U.S. and the rise of the Taliban. It explores father-son relationships, class, friendship, family, love, loss, grief, violent, redemption--I could go on and on. I need to read it again. It's so fantastic--everyone could learn something from it.
